Use your color ink-jet printer to create awesome image transfers by following this article contributed by
Nina Bagley
Tools:
Digital image from computer Inkjet printer (will not work on heat-set copies like laserjet or photocopier)
Glossy photo paper (recomment Jet Print Photo from WalMart - 60 sheets for $15)
Water
Foam brush
Paper to receive image: 90 lb -140Lb hotpress watercolor paper or manila envelope
Heat Gun
Directions:
Print a color image by inkjet onto matte photo paper. (Be aware final product will create a reverse image of what is printed.)
Use the foam brush to wash the image with a sheen of water
Place the image face down on receiving paper or envelope
Burnish the back with a paper towel
You can use the same glossy photo image up to 4 times. Each image will be more faint and ghost-like than the previous.
Dry with heat gun right away to set.
Admire your results!
